Sporrong is one of the oldest companies in the Nordic region.
The business was originally founded as a belt-maker’s in Stockholm back in 1666 by Henrik Garu, Master Craftsman.
Following several changes of name and ownership, the business was taken over in 1842 by Carl Claes Sporrong,
the last Master of the Belt-Makers Guild Stockholm, who also gave the company its current name.
